Fred is the older brother of Santa Claus and has spent his entire life resenting the goodness of his sibling.  Now his brother needs him and he has to sort out his life and get over it.

I didn’t think this movie was too bad.  Gave it a C+ because it was completely predictable and not anything outstanding.  I thought the actors did a good job.  This is a great idea with average execution.

The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause

This movie has Jack Frost scheming to take the Santa Claus position away from Scott Calvin.  Meanwhile, Santa has bigger issues like visiting in-laws and the birth of his new baby.   I've seen the first two SC movies - liked the first one, thought the second one was just okay.  This one was better than the second one and almost as good as the first one.  It's predictably cheesy in some parts but overall worth the watch.
