Grade: A
Premise: A return to the beginning of the Batman series - why and how he becomes Batman.
Recommend?: Definite Yes! I am not a huge fan of comic book movies (Spiderman, Superman, etc..) and only went to see this because I just love Christian Bale. I thought this movie was incredibly entertaining and the best of all the recent Batman movies. It went a little darker and you have to wait about 45 minutes before you actually see Batman, but it is worth it. Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman are great and their characters were written well. Katie Holmes was not terrible but easily replaceable by any other female actress. It is on my must-buy list when it comes out on DVD.
