Ray

Grade: B

Premise: Biopic of Ray Charles.

Again with the hesitation. I only netflixed this because JF won the Academy Award - I was really not interested in seeing it. But since DH is sick and was asleep upstairs, I decided to just stick it out. I had heard that JF gave a great performance in a mediocre movie. This was a slightly above mediocre and JF definitely gave a great performance. Hated all the weird flashback scenes. Drives me nuts regardless of the movie. This mostly focuses on RC drug addiction and his relationship with his long suffering wife.

Recommend?: Yes, definitely...not for the kiddies though
