Glory

Grade: C

Premise: Story of the 54th - all african american troop fighting for the north in the Civil War.

DH made me watch this (after I made him watch the Mary Poppins SE DVD - which he liked). I ended up really enjoying this movie. Great performance from Morgan Freeman - I believe Denzel Washington got the Academy Award for this. Don't know how accurate it is historically (based on some writings from Colonel Shaw of the 54th) but it was enjoyable.

Recommend?: Yep - I think anyone would like this.
