The Last Samurai

Grade: C
Premise: War hero goes to Japan to train army...ends up a Samurai. Oh, and they managed to fit in a love story as well.

Well, I'm not a huge Tom Cruise Fan but since Matt sits through chick movies for me, I thought I'd return the favor. This movie isn't bad. It's got some very cool fight scenes and a very good performance by Ken Watanabi (?). It was, however, one of the longest 2 hour movies ever. Seemed like days. I'm glad I saw it...don't need to see it again. Would recommend it if you REALLY were interested in seeing it.
