Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

(hand & wand prints from the Chinese Theatre)

Grade: A

Premise: Voldemort is back and the people at the Ministry are in denial. Harry & Dumbledore's reputations are being smeared. Hogwarts is being controlled by a scary pink witch. Harry & his friends have to fight Voldemort and his Death Eaters (again).

Recommend?: Oh yeah. There are some major points left out from the books but overall a worthy adaptation. The fight scene at the end is the most intense I've seen. Make sure you go to a good theater!!! We saw it at Mann's Graumann Chinese Theater and it was awesome. Alan Rickman is still superb as Snape and the newcomers - Imelda Staunton and Helena Bonham-Carter are wonderful.

As a true Harry Potter fan (and one of the only YA fiction genres that I like), the Harry Potter movies never disappoint.
