Grade: B
Premise: Robert Langdon and Sophie Neveu try to solve clues as to where the Holy Grail is located before a crazy religious albino kills them.
Recommend?: Yes if you haven't read the book, No/rent if you have read the book. As per usual - the book is MUCH better than the film. This story relies on you to really feel something for the Sophie character and you don't in the movie. Audrey Tautou is one of my favorites - but this isn't even close to her best work. The historical overlays in the movie drove me nuts. Tom Hanks is getting bad reviews for his performance - but I thought he played the character quite well. The movie could have been much better - but they missed the mark. The supporting cast were all very good.
