Beyond the Sea

Grade: C

Premise: Sort of biopic about Bobby Darin.

Recommend: Again, perhaps. It is sort of a strange little movie. Kevin Spacey is great (as always) as Bobby Darin - but it sort of jumps around and there is the "little" Bobby Darin that keeps coming on screen. I didn't really buy the whole Kevin Spacey/Kate Bosworth thing - too many years between them. There is a great domestic fight scene. I'm not sure it was intended to be funny - but it was! Really good dance sequences.
