Garden State

Grade: B

Premise: Los Angeles wannabe Actor goes back to New Jersey when his mom dies.

I liked this movie but it didn't exactly change my life or anything. I think that if I was in college or just out of - it would have had an impact on me. Some really good writing and clever scenes. Most people would enjoy it but one of my friends said that a good drink right beforehand will enhance the viewing.

I thought Garden State was excellent, but as you suggest I think it depends on your place in life. I could relate to Large in (too) many ways, so I was drawn to it.
