I Capture the Castle

Grade: B, possibly A

 

Premise: A burnt out writer takes his family to live in a castle.  Years pass and the castle's American owners come to take ownership and possibly one of the girls in the family as a bride.

 

Another wonderful BBC funded movie.  Look for Bill Nighy (of Love Actually) to give a great performance as the burnt out writer.  Not much action - high on the drama with some funny parts.  Can't decide whether to buy this one...maybe if it's on sale.  Set in 1930's England.
