Van Helsing

Premise: Van Helsing goes to Transylvania to kill Dracula. Kate Beckinsale tries to help.

It sucked out loud. It is, quite possibly, the worst movie I have ever seen. The acting by all, except Mr. Jackman, is terrible. The effects are terrible...just bad...After 20 minutes I checked my watch thinking it had been at least an hour. The biggest problem with this movie was that it relied on CONSTANT monster popping out at you scenes so you never got a chance to just kind of relax and get prepared for the next monster scene...

I know the reviews on this have been mixed...please pay attention to the really bad reviews! If you love Hugh Jackman...wait until there is only about 20 minutes left in the film and you will get a shot of HJ with that long hair in a loincloth...That itself is worth the price of admission...just don't bother with the rest of the film...

Absolutely not a good choice for kids...too intense... OH and Matt hated it too...possibly more than I did. Don't even rent this one...wait for X-Men 3!
